- Make sure the Sodastream MIX® Sparkling Water Maker is compatible with the carbonating bottles presented here.
- Fill the plastic carbonating bottle with a cold drink up to the Fill Line.
- To insert the plastic carbonating bottle, unlock the Release Dial and tilt the Overflow Tank towards you.
- Insert the bottle neck into the Snap-Lock System and push it all the way up.
- Tilt the Carbonating Bottle towards the Sparkling Drink Maker.
Note - The Carbonating Bottle has been properly inserted when there is a gap between the Carbonating Bottle and the Drip Tray.
- Turn Release Dial to “Locked” position.
- Push Carbonating Button, hold for 1 second, and release. Repeat as desired. Wait 5 seconds before you proceed.
- Warning: Recommendations are for strong fizz level and may vary from one drink to another.

- Use Release Dial to control the foam from overflowing.
Remember: Control foam with dial. If it overflows, lock the dial again. - Turn the dial to Stage I. Pause & let foam settle.
Warning: Always release the carbonation slowly to avoid foam overflow and mess - Foam begins to rise – Wait a few seconds for the foam to settle.
- Turn Release Dial to “Release Stage II”, and let the foam settle.
- Unlock Release Dial. Pull Carbonating Bottle towards you.
