There is an issue with the carbonation of my sodastream FOUNTAIN™

When you have carbonation issues, first - check if the cylinder is low on CO2:

  • No carbonation – Possible when CO2 Cylinder is empty or not properly installed.
    1. Check CO2 Level Indicator. If low, replace the CO2 Cylinder.  
    2. Ensure the cylinder is securely connected
  • Weak carbonation – Possible when (1) Low CO2 level, (2) warm water, or (3) incorrect carbonation setting.
    1. Replace the CO2 Cylinder if the CO2 Level Indicator shows low.
    2. Add cold water to the Water Tank (or some ice cubes)  
    3. Ensure carbonation level is set to the desired level.
